See all reviewsAnswers during a live call. Lenny Le (June 30, 2026), marked helpful by 2 people, writes that he is "impressed with how this app works in real time with providing answers based on questions the interviewer ask." Ash Jr (June 3, 2026) adds that "the live assistant is highly structured."
Lenny Le also says stealth mode is "virtually undetectable on any testing platform with the exception of glider, which forces you to install an app on your phone." We quote him because he names the one exception himself instead of making a blanket claim.
Switching from a competitor. Abinash Panda (Kanha) (May 19, 2026) writes: "I have used tools like lockedin AI and final round AI. But interviewman is by far the best." He puts price first: "Additionally, the pricing is what attracts me. I had used it in interviews and it helped me crack one."
Kelly Bloss (April 1, 2026), one helpful vote: "Signed up and started using it 5 minutes before a client interview and it worked really well. Much better than Verve which cost much more." She rated the setup "easy and quick to use and setup without having to do it ahead of time."
Answers tailored to the job description. An anonymous reviewer (August 11, 2026) writes that the app "helped me prepare strong, role-specific answers based on the job description (JD), which made my preparation so much easier." A job description is the posting the employer publishes for a role, listing duties and required skills.
dhruv (June 3, 2026) puts it as a comparison: the app "provides highly tailored answers and solutions specific to your background and goals, rather than the generic, one-size-fits-all responses that many other tools offer."
Mock practice. A mock interview is a rehearsal round where the app asks questions and you answer, with nobody hiring on the other side. E Digi (May 11, 2026), one helpful vote, writes that "the live assistance, real-time transcription, and interview support features make practicing much more effective and confidence-building."
Levis Njogu (April 30, 2026): "It feels like having a personal interview coach in your pocket."
What the App Store reviews say
One caveat: Apple publishes a title, a handle and a date for each review, but not its star value. So we can tell you the listing average is 4.9 from 127 ratings, and we cannot tell you how many stars any reviewer below gave.
Price against the alternatives. Polaks101 (September 12, 2026), "Life saver!", writes: "From blind, found this app and it cost 1/10th the cost of other apps and is much more faster than those apps in providing feedback." Blind is an anonymous message board where employees talk about their workplaces and job hunts.
L.C180 (May 6, 2026) says the same more mildly: "It is a jack of all trades and it is competitively priced compared to other similar tools on the market."
Live coding. DS JC rec (April 25, 2026), "Live coding much easier", describes the problem first: "But live coding just addles my brain. I forget basic things I know." The verdict: "InterviewMan is a really great resource for staying on track."
Prinyc25 (June 16, 2026) is more measured: "The interface is easy to use, and the AI-generated suggestions are useful for structuring answers."
Behavioral rounds. A behavioral round asks how you handled situations in the past rather than testing code. Evan12233 (April 14, 2026), "The confidence boost I desperately needed!": "I just finished a round with a top firm and for the first time, I felt I actually nailed the behavioral questions."
Callbacks. texkev73 (April 8, 2026), "3 Months nothing until I installed this": "While browsing Reddit I happened to find this app and it has been a lifesaver for sure. I'm getting better call backs for positions."

Three things to set up before your first round
Transcripts live in the desktop app. The desktop app hosts the session and is where transcripts are saved, so install it from the download page rather than working in a browser tab if the transcript is why you are buying.
Learn the shortcuts in advance. The core set is Cmd+B to hide or show, Cmd+L to listen, and Cmd+Enter to generate. They are customizable, and the full list is on our keyboard shortcuts page.
Set the answer shape once. Answer structure, bullet or conversational style, and length are all configurable, and the interview language and the answer language are set separately.
