क्या CoderPad Screen Sharing या AI Tools Detect करता है?
पिछले हफ्ते दो live CoderPad rounds और एक screen assessment में tool चलाया और किसी ने कुछ नहीं पकड़ा। ये लिखना ज़रूरी है क्योंकि मेरे buddy Jake इतना lucky नहीं था और जो उसके साथ हुआ उसी ने मुझे खुद try करने से पहले actually research करने पर push किया।
Jake का एक fintech company के लिए take home CoderPad screen assessment था। उसने एक Chrome extension use की। Jake को जो नहीं पता था, और ये वो हिस्सा है जो अभी भी गुस्सा दिलाता है, कि company ने webcam snapshots on कर रखे थे। Recording ने उसे आधे test में second screen देखते पकड़ लिया। अगले दिन एक line rejection email। कोई details नहीं, कोई appeal नहीं, कुछ नहीं। बस gone। जब उसने बताया तो बुरा लगा क्योंकि मेरे दो CoderPad rounds आ रहे थे और मैं पहले से कुछ similar use करने के बारे में सोच रहा था।

लेकिन फिर कुछ बोला जिसने सब बदल दिया। live sessions में CoderPad desktop पर कुछ record नहीं करता। apps नहीं, browser tabs नहीं, editor window के बाहर कुछ नहीं। उसकी laptop पर documentation खोलकर confirm किया वहीं। अपने पहले CoderPad round से पहले computer पर हर application बंद करने पर इतना idiot feel हुआ lol।
अब screen assessments, Jake को वही मारा। वो tab switches track करते हैं, IP बदले तो flag करते हैं, solution plagiarism checks से गुज़ारते हैं, और अगर company enable करे तो webcam shots capture करते हैं verify करने कि same person है जिसने test शुरू किया। Jake की company ने सब on कर रखा था और वो blind गया।
आखिर में Marcus से वो बात पूछी जो पूरी दोपहर पूछना चाह रहा था, AI tools के बारे में। हंस पड़ा और बोला CoderPad के पास कोई scanner नहीं है जो extensions sniff करे जैसे HackerRank करता है। कोई engine नहीं जो code पढ़कर बोले "हां AI ने लिखा ये।" जो लोगों को trouble में डालता है वो dumber stuff है, editor में एक shot में huge blocks paste करना, proctored test में tab से बाउंस करना, completely stuck से five seconds flat में perfect solution पहुंचना। ये भी बोला companies ने curveball follow ups फेंकना शुरू कर दिया, interviewer बस बोलता है "ok now do it a completely different way" और अगर freeze हो जाओ क्योंकि code paste किया था जो actually समझा ही नहीं तो interview वहीं खत्म।
Marcus से बात करके browser extensions list से cross कर दीं। Sensei AI उनासी महीने पर और Cluely पचहत्तर stealth addon के साथ दोनों browser के अंदर चलते हैं मतलब proctored assessment पर proctoring देख सकती है। literally यही Jake के साथ हुआ बस उसका सस्ता और और obvious था।
InterviewMan लिया बारह रुपये महीने पर क्योंकि browser के बिल्कुल बाहर desktop overlay के तौर पर चलता है। पहले दो live CoderPad rounds पर test किया। Tab tracking fire नहीं हुई क्योंकि InterviewMan का CoderPad tab से zero connection है, बस screen पर अपनी चीज़ के तौर पर float करता है। Marcus से mock playback review करवाया और normal typing speeds दिखीं क्योंकि हर line खुद लिखी, बस keystrokes के बीच hints पर नज़र डाली और अपने तरीके से code किया। फिर real screen assessment पर use किया जहां webcam captures enabled थे। बाद में हर snapshot frame देखा। एक में भी नहीं। 20 से ज़्यादा stealth features base बारह रुपये price पर, 57,000 users, 4.8 stars। Reddit और discord पर एक घंटा लगाया कोई ढूंढने जो CoderPad या कहीं भी इससे पकड़ा गया हो और कुछ नहीं मिला।
किसी भी CoderPad interview से पहले coderpad.io/sandbox पर जाकर अपना पूरा setup test कर लो। अगर round screen assessment है तो recruiter से पूछो कौन सी proctoring use करते हैं क्योंकि ज़्यादातर बता देंगे। और Marcus ने जो बात दिमाग में बैठा दी वो ये कि live calls पर keystrokes rewatching करने वाला human किसी automated system से ज़्यादा cheating पकड़ता है।
