InterviewMan vs. Stealth Interview

ok so my buddy Kevin sent me a link to Stealth Interview last month, he was shopping around for interview help and wanted my take. i had InterviewMan on my phone for a few months by then, but i figured why not de fapt look into how they stack up. what i found was sincer kind of interesting.

the first thing that jumped out was the pricing. InterviewMan is $30 pe luna or $12 pe luna if you pay annually at $144 pe an, and both plans include minute nelimitate, all tipuri de interviuri, the full set of functii stealth, everything. one product, one set of capabilities. Stealth Interview does this three-tier thing where the Starter plan is $49 pe luna with GPT-5.2 and the smaller variants, then Premium is $150 for sase luni which comes out to $25 pe luna and adds Claude Opus 4.5 plus mai rapid responses, and then the Hunter plan is $250 pe an at roughly $21 pe luna with everything unlocked. Kevin was looking at the Hunter plan thinking $21 pe luna is not bad, and yeah pe hartie e close to InterviewMan on the planul anual, but the entry point is $49 pe luna if you nu want to drop $150 or $250 upfront. asta e over four times what InterviewMan charges annually lol. and the tiered model means the best AI models are gated behind the pricier plans, which kind of defeats the purpose daca esti trying to save money.

this is de fapt where Stealth Interview tries to differentiate itself though. the Starter plan gives you GPT-5.2, Premium unlocks Claude Opus 4.5 ceea ce e cu adevarat one of the mai puternic reasoning models out chiar acum, and Hunter gets you unlimited premium model usage with the fastest response times. i get the appeal, daca ai a preference for which model handles your probleme de coding you can pick. Kevin trusts Claude more for algorithmic stuff, some people want GPT-5.2 for system design speed, having options is fine sincer. InterviewMan keeps its models under the hood and sincer asta e destul de standard in acest spatiu, most tools just treat the engine as plumbing. what matters to me is whether the answers land fast and accurate when the interviewer is staring at you waiting, and with 57.000 de utilizatori plus a medie de 4.8 stele din 257 de recenzii i think the output speaks for itself. Stealth Interview sits at 3.8 out of 5 on theresanaiforthat from 13 ratings, way smaller sample and a noticeably lower score.

lacuna de acoperire really stood out to me though. Stealth Interview se concentreaza pe interviu de codings, it lists LeetCode, HackerRank, CoderPad, CodeSignal support and works with Zoom and Google Meet. system design gets mentioned in the marketing but the emphasis is algorithmic and data structure problems. InterviewMan covers behavioral, technical, coding si system design, integrates with Zoom, Teams, Meet, Chime, Webex, and Lark, supports HackerRank, CoderPad, and Codility, and runs natively on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Chrome. most engineering loops are three to five rounds and maybe one or two are coding, the rest is behavioral and discutie tehnica and system design. a tool that only helps with coding leaves you alone for the majority of the process and i felt that gap destul de clearly when i was looking at what Kevin would de fapt need.

Stealth Interview also only lists Zoom and Google Meet for conferencing. Teams, Webex, Chime, Lark are nowhere on their site. if your next call comes through Microsoft Teams, and o multime de big companies use it, Stealth Interview might just not work. InterviewMan nu have that gap.

both tools claim invisibility during screen sharing. InterviewMan ships peste 20 de contra-masuri on every plan, ascundere din dock, masked process names, blocare leak-uri WebRTC, invizibilitate la inregistrarea ecranului. 57.000 de oameni have used it with zero detectii confirmate across o multime de real interviews against o multime de real proctoring setups. Stealth Interview says you can pass interviuri tehnice undetected by screen sharing apps but i nu am putut find specifics on how they pull that off, the product page never lists specific protections the way InterviewMan does. with 13 ratings there just is not enough data to draw strong conclusions. 57.000 de utilizatori means 57,000 chances for something to break, bad wifi, surprise platform switches five minutes before a round, two-hour sessions, full-screen coding shares. InterviewMan has been through toate that. a tool with 13 ratings has not been through that same volume of chaos yet, it might hold up fine but the proof just nu exist.

so yeah, if picking GPT-5.2 or Claude Opus 4.5 for your runda de codings is the single thing you care about and you are fine paying $150 to $250 upfront, Stealth Interview gives you that on Zoom and Google Meet. for literally everyone else running a loop complet, InterviewMan at $12 pe luna annually covers way more ground, works on way more platforms, and has roughly forty-four hundred ori mai mult users behind its pretentii de stealth. i told Kevin to try InterviewMan first and he ended up agreeing after looking at the numbers.
