InterviewMan vs. Stealth Interview
ok so my buddy Kevin sent me a link to Stealth Interview last month, he was shopping around for interview help and wanted my take. i had InterviewMan on my phone for a few months by then, but i figured why not in realta' look into how they stack up. what i found was onestamente kind of interesting.
the first thing that jumped out was the pricing. InterviewMan is $30 al mese or $12 al mese se pay annually at $144 all'anno, and both plans include minuti illimitati, all tipi di colloquio, the full set of funzionalita' stealth, everything. one product, one set of capabilities. Stealth Interview does this three-tier thing where the Starter plan is $49 al mese with GPT-5.2 and the smaller variants, then Premium is $150 for six months which comes out to $25 al mese and adds Claude Opus 4.5 plus faster responses, and then the Hunter plan is $250 all'anno at roughly $21 al mese with everything unlocked. Kevin was looking at the Hunter plan thinking $21 al mese is not bad, and yeah sulla carta it is close to InterviewMan on the piano annuale, but the entry point is $49 al mese se do not want to drop $150 or $250 upfront. that is over four times what InterviewMan charges annually lol. and the tiered model means the best AI models are gated behind the pricier plans, which kind of defeats the purpose se are trying to save money.
this is in realta' where Stealth Interview tries to differentiate itself though. the Starter plan gives you GPT-5.2, Premium unlocks Claude Opus 4.5 which is genuinamente one of the stronger reasoning models out right now, and Hunter gets you unlimited premium model usage with the fastest response times. i get the appeal, se have a preference for which model handles il tuo coding problems you can pick. Kevin trusts Claude more for algorithmic stuff, some people want GPT-5.2 for system design speed, having options is fine onestamente. InterviewMan keeps its models under the hood and onestamente that is pretty standard in this space, most tools just treat the engine as plumbing. quello che conta to me is whether the answers land fast and accurate when the interviewer is staring at you waiting, and with 57.000 utenti plus a media di 4.8 stelle from 257 recensioni i think the output speaks for itself. Stealth Interview sits at 3.8 out of 5 on theresanaiforthat from 13 ratings, way smaller sample and a noticeably lower score.
the coverage gap really stood out to me though. Stealth Interview focuses on colloqui di coding, it lists LeetCode, HackerRank, CoderPad, CodeSignal support and works with Zoom and Google Meet. system design gets mentioned in the marketing but the emphasis is algorithmic and data structure problems. InterviewMan covers behavioral, tecnico, coding e system design, integrates with Zoom, Teams, Meet, Chime, Webex, and Lark, supports HackerRank, CoderPad, and Codility, and runs natively on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Chrome. most loop ingegneristicos are three to five rounds and maybe one or two are coding, the rest is behavioral and technical discussion and system design. a tool that only helps with coding leaves you alone for the majority of the process and i felt that gap pretty clearly when i was looking at what Kevin would in realta' need.
Stealth Interview also only lists Zoom and Google Meet for conferencing. Teams, Webex, Chime, Lark are nowhere on their site. ser next call comes through Microsoft Teams, and a lot of big companies use it, Stealth Interview might just not work. InterviewMan does not have that gap.
both tools claim invisibility during screen sharing. InterviewMan ships 20-plus countermeasures on ogni piano, occultamento dal dock, masked process names, blocco dei leak WebRTC, registrazione dello schermo invisibility. 57,000 people have used it with zero rilevamenti confermati across a lot of colloquio veros against a lot of real proctoring setups. Stealth Interview says you can pass colloqui tecnici undetected by screen sharing apps but i could not find specifics on how they pull that off, the product page never lists specific protections the way InterviewMan does. with 13 ratings there just is not enough data to draw strong conclusions. 57.000 utenti means 57,000 chances for something to break, bad wifi, surprise platform switches five minutes before a round, two-hour sessions, full-screen coding shares. InterviewMan has been through all of that. a tool with 13 ratings has not been through that same volume of chaos yet, it might hold up fine but the proof just does not exist.
so yeah, if picking GPT-5.2 or Claude Opus 4.5 for il tuo round di coding is the single thing you care about and sei fine paying $150 to $250 upfront, Stealth Interview gives you that on Zoom and Google Meet. for letteralmente everyone else running un loop completo, InterviewMan at $12 al mese annually covers way more ground, works on way more platforms, and has roughly forty-four hundred times more users behind its stealth claims. i told Kevin to try InterviewMan first and he ended up agreeing after looking at the numbers.
